White Novelys can be used to restore an entire pair of white sneakers or selectively on white areas that have lost their original appearance. It is particularly useful for white rubber sole edges that have become yellowed, greyed or discoloured with wear.

1. Clean the surface thoroughly first. Use Saphir Médaille d'Or Foam Cleaner for general cleaning. For particularly dirty footwear or more stubborn buildup, use Saphir Médaille d'Or Deep Cleaner.
2. Allow the footwear to dry completely before beginning the recolouring process.
3. Prepare the White Novelys applicator sponge. Before touching the footwear, dispense the product onto a separate suitable surface to ensure the sponge has absorbed the product and is releasing it evenly.
4. Test on a discreet area before proceeding with the complete treatment.
5. Apply White Novelys sparingly to the areas requiring recolouring. Work carefully and evenly across the surface.
6. Avoid over-application. Too much product can lead to poor absorption or an uneven appearance. Several controlled applications are preferable to applying an excessive amount at once.
7. Allow the treatment to dry fully. There is no need to brush or buff the surface afterward. White Novelys is a recolouring dye, not a polish or wax.
8. Once completely dry, finish with Saphir Médaille d'Or Protector or Saphir Médaille d'Or Super Invulner for additional protection against water, dirt and staining.

The most important distinction with White Novelys is understanding when cleaning stops and recolouring begins. If a white sneaker is simply dirty, clean it first. But when the material itself has become grey, yellowed, faded or uneven and cleaning can no longer bring the white back, White Novelys allows us to restore the colour itself.

I particularly like it for the white rubber edges of sneaker soles. These areas often remain dull or discoloured even after a very thorough cleaning, and a careful, restrained application can restore a much cleaner and more uniform white appearance.

The secret is not to overload the surface. Make certain the applicator sponge is dispensing evenly before approaching the shoe, and then work with small amounts of product. Recolouring is always easier to control when we build the result gradually.

And remember: do not brush or buff White Novelys after application. We are depositing colour, not polishing a waxed surface.
