1. Ensure the material is completely dry before brushing.
2. Test the brush on an inconspicuous area, particularly on lightly coloured or exceptionally delicate leather.
3. Remove any loose or dried surface debris before treating the entire item.
4. Hold the brush comfortably and work gently across the surface using short, controlled movements.
5. Pay additional attention to flattened or lightly soiled areas without repeatedly rubbing the same spot.
6. Finish by brushing the fibres lightly in one direction to create a more even appearance.

Remove accumulated dust from the brush after use and store it in a clean, dry place.

This cleaning brush is a good choice when a brass brush may be too assertive for the material. Its softer synthetic texture is particularly useful on fine nubuck, shearling and lightly soiled suede that requires regular maintenance rather than aggressive cleaning.

Always begin with minimal pressure. Velvety leather should be lifted and refreshed rather than scrubbed. For heavier staining, use an appropriate suede and nubuck cleaner and allow the material to dry completely before using the brush to restore its texture.

Keep this brush for suede, nubuck and similarly textured materials. Do not use it to apply coloured creams or wax polish, as transferred product may contaminate lighter leather during future use.
