1. If necessary, clean the leather with an appropriate leather cleaner and allow it to dry completely.
2. Test the product on an inconspicuous area, as dubbin may darken certain leathers.
3. Apply a small amount with a clean cotton cloth or application brush.
4. Massage the product into the leather using small circular movements to encourage even absorption.
5. particular attention to dry areas, seams, welts and the edges of leather soles.
6. Allow the leather to dry completely.
7. Buff smooth leather with a clean horsehair brush or soft cloth.
8. Reapply periodically according to wear and exposure to moisture.

Graisse HP® is considerably richer than an everyday shoe cream, so a small amount is usually sufficient. I recommend building several thin applications rather than applying one heavy layer, which can leave the surface greasy and slow the drying process.

For leather soles, work a light coating into the surface and around the perimeter, paying particular attention to the area near the welt. Allow the treatment to absorb and dry fully before wearing the shoes.

Because rich dubbin treatments can deepen the colour and alter the finish of certain leathers, always test first.
