1. Remove loose dust and surface dirt with a brush or clean cloth.
2. Shake the bottle well before use.
3. Apply a small amount of Réno'Mat to a clean cotton cloth.
4. Work gently over the leather, concentrating on areas with dirt, stains, or accumulated product deposits.
5. Repeat if necessary, moving to a clean section of the cloth as residue is removed.
6. Allow the leather to dry completely before applying subsequent leather care products.
7. Once clean, nourish and condition the leather with an appropriate Saphir Beauté du Cuir care product before rebuilding the finish.

Always test on an inconspicuous area before treating the entire item.

Réno'Mat is not the cleaner I reach for every time I polish a pair of shoes. I reserve it for those moments when the leather genuinely needs a reset—old layers of polish, stubborn deposits, staining, or perhaps a second-hand pair whose previous care routine is unknown.

One of the most common mistakes is using a powerful cleaner more aggressively than necessary. Start with a small amount and work patiently. Once you've removed what needs to come off, stop. The objective is to clean the leather sufficiently to begin caring for it again, not to repeatedly strip the surface.
