1. Carefully brush the leather with a Horsehair Brush to remove dust and loose dirt.
2. Apply a small amount of Nourishing Lotion with a soft cotton cloth.
3. Massage the lotion into the leather using firm, even pressure.
4. Allow to dry for 10–15 minutes.
5. Polish with a clean cotton cloth or wool polishing glove to finish.

Always test on an inconspicuous area before treating the entire item.

I particularly like a lotion for leather that needs maintenance rather than restoration. If your shoes or leather goods are simply looking a little tired or dry, there is often no reason to subject them to a deep cleaning process. A product like this allows you to gently clean while replenishing some of what the leather needs at the same time.

Apply it sparingly and give the leather time to absorb the treatment before deciding whether it needs more. For very delicate or unprotected aniline leather, I would move to Saphir Médaille d'Or Nappa Cream instead, as Saphir specifically recommends it for those more sensitive finishes.
