• Pure lanolin (100% natural) — a natural wax produced by sheep to protect their wool and collected from raw fleece after they have been safely sheared. It helps nourish, regenerate and soften the leather without leaving heavy waxy deposits on the treated surface.

1. Brush or gently wipe the leather to remove dust and loose surface dirt.
2. Test the product on an inconspicuous area before treating the entire item.
3. Place a small amount of Lanolin Gel onto the included cotton chamois.
4. Apply a very thin, even layer to the leather, working in small sections.
5. Buff each section immediately with a clean portion of the chamois, before the gel dries.
6. Continue until the entire surface has been treated and an even shine has developed.
7. Allow the item to rest naturally before use.

This is the product I recommend when an ordinary leather cream appears to remain on the surface instead of being absorbed. Its lightweight consistency is especially useful for braided, metallic, pearlescent and multicoloured leathers, where a heavier cream can settle into the texture or leave visible residue.

Use the smallest practical amount and work in sections. Lanolin Gel should be buffed immediately, before it dries, so applying a heavy layer across the entire item will make it more difficult to achieve an even finish. Always test delicate, metallic or unusually coloured leather in a discreet area first.

It is not suitable for suede, nubuck or other velvety leathers.
