1. Remove loose dirt before treatment. If necessary clean the leather first with Reno'mat or the adequate cleaner.
2. Apply Everest® sparingly and evenly to compatible leather with an applicator brush or a cotton cloth.
3. Allow the leather sufficient time to absorb the product, and assess the result before adding more.
4. Buff the leather with a polishing brush.

Because dubbin is a rich treatment, particularly on lighter or more absorbent leather, always test first on a discreet area.

Everest® is the sort of product I reserve for leather that genuinely needs substantial nourishment and weather protection. Hiking boots, mountain footwear and rugged outdoor leather are very different from a finely polished Oxford; here, preserving suppleness and protecting the leather from repeated exposure to moisture is the priority.

With any dubbin, moderation matters. Begin with a thin layer and give the leather time to absorb it. Heavy applications can unnecessarily saturate the surface, while a controlled treatment allows you to judge what the leather actually needs.
