• Deep-Cleansing Formula – Designed to remove persistent stains and accumulated residues including waxes, silicones, and resins, helping prepare the leather for subsequent conditioning and care.

1. Ensure the leather is dry and remove any loose dust or surface dirt.
2. Apply a small amount of Reno Cleaner to a clean, dry cloth.
3. Work the product over the leather using circular motions to lift dirt and accumulated residue.
4. Continually move to a clean section of the cloth as dirt is removed.
5. Allow the leather to dry for at least 15 minutes.
6. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.
7. Once completely clean and dry, follow with an appropriate Saphir Médaille d'Or conditioner, cream, or lotion to restore nourishment.

Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application. Excessive cleaning may remove certain leather finishes.

I reserve Reno Cleaner for occasions when leather genuinely requires a deeper clean. If a pair of shoes simply has light surface dirt, I prefer a gentler cleaner. Reno Cleaner comes into its own when stubborn contamination or accumulated layers of previous products need to be removed before rebuilding the care routine.

After deep cleaning, remember to restore nourishment. Allow the leather to dry properly, assess its condition, and then follow with an appropriate Saphir Médaille d'Or conditioner. Cleaning prepares the leather; it does not replace conditioning.
