Mud Remover Brush

1. Allow mud and soil to dry completely before brushing.
2. Remove the laces and insert shoe trees when additional support is needed.
3. Brush away loose deposits using short, controlled strokes.
4. Work gently across the leather upper, following the natural shape of the shoe.
5. Finish with a softer cleaning brush to remove any remaining fine dust before applying a cleaner, conditioner or polish.
6. Tap or wipe the brush clean after use and store it in a dry place.

Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Exercise additional care on delicate, highly polished or easily marked leather.

Always allow mud to dry before trying to remove it. Brushing wet mud tends to spread moisture and soil across the leather, driving the dirt further into the grain. Once dry, most deposits can be broken apart and lifted away with controlled brushing.

Use firmer pressure around the welt and sole edge, but lighten your touch when working across the upper. I also recommend keeping this brush separate from your polishing brushes so that traces of soil are never transferred back onto clean leather.
