1. Brush the leather thoroughly to remove dust and dirt.
2. If necessary, clean the leather using Reno Cleaner or Renovateur.
3. Apply a small amount of Pâte de Luxe using a cotton cloth or Pommadier Brush.
4. Massage gently into the leather using circular motions.
5. Apply one or two thin coats across the entire shoe.
6. Allow approximately five minutes drying time between coats.
7. Buff with a horsehair brush or wool polishing glove.
8. For a mirror shine, apply additional thin layers to the toe and heel.

Pâte de Luxe performs best when applied after Crème 1925. The cream nourishes the leather and lays the foundation, while Pâte de Luxe adds protection, shine, and depth. For those pursuing a true mirror shine, I recommend using Pâte de Luxe to build your base layers before finishing with Mirror Gloss.

Remember that thin layers always outperform thick ones when it comes to wax polishing.
