Saphir Médaille d'Or Protector is a high-performance waterproofing spray designed to shield sneakers and casual footwear from rain, snow, mud, grease, beverages, and everyday stains. Its advanced water-based formula creates an invisible protective barrier that helps prevent dirt and liquids from penetrating the surface, keeping materials cleaner for longer.

Unlike traditional aerosol protectors, Protector contains no liquefied gas propellants. The entire contents of the bottle consist of active product, making it an exceptionally concentrated and economical treatment. Its innovative compressed-air delivery system ensures a fine, even application without oversaturating or damaging delicate materials.

Free from solvents and flammable gases, the formula has been developed with both user safety and environmental responsibility in mind while delivering long-lasting protection against everyday wear.

How to Use

1. Brush the item thoroughly to remove dust and dirt.

2. Shake the bottle well before use.

3. Spray evenly from approximately 20 cm away.

4. Avoid saturating the material.

5. If necessary, gently absorb any remaining droplets with a clean cotton cloth.

6. Allow to dry for 6 hours before wear.

Tips from Preston

Protection is always easier than restoration. I recommend applying the Protector before the first wear of a new pair and reapplying regularly, especially during wet seasons. Because the formula is highly concentrated, a light and even application is all that's required to achieve excellent protection.

When applying to smooth leather, ensure the surface is clean, porous and free from heavy wax buildup. This allows the protector to bond properly with the leather and deliver optimal performance.
