1. Remove loose dust and dirt with an appropriate brush.
2. For leather requiring a more intensive clean, use Saphir Médaille d'Or Reno Cleaner instead.
3. Shake the Cleanser bottle thoroughly before use.
4. Apply sparingly with a clean cotton cloth, massaging gently into the leather using circular motions.
5. Allow to dry for approximately 15 minutes.
6. Buff with a clean cotton cloth.
7. For gentle routine cleaning, keep the application light and relatively quick to help preserve the existing patina and glaze.
8. When greater wax removal is required, repeat the application using slower circular movements and allow the product to work more thoroughly.

Always keep the working area of your cotton cloth clean. Move to a fresh section as dirt and old product are lifted from the leather.

Cleanser is one of my preferred choices when a beautiful patina has already been developed and I don't want to unnecessarily strip it away. Not every cleaning session needs to return the leather to a completely bare surface. Sometimes the goal is simply to remove what shouldn't be there while preserving the character you've spent years developing.

Your technique determines a great deal here. Use a light hand for routine maintenance; if you deliberately want to remove more accumulated wax, slow down and work progressively. This control is precisely what makes Cleanser so useful on well-maintained shoes and fine leather goods.
