1. Brush the item thoroughly to remove loose dust and dirt.
2. For smooth leather requiring additional cleaning, first use Saphir Beauté du Cuir Réno'Mat Leather Cleaner.
3. For suede or nubuck requiring additional cleaning, first use Saphir Beauté du Cuir Omnidaim Suede & Nubuck Cleaner.
4. Shake the Hiver Winter bottle well before use.
5. Apply the product to the affected white marks using a soft cotton cloth.
6. Allow the treated material to dry completely.
7. Once dry, continue with the appropriate Saphir Beauté du Cuir care routine for the leather being treated.

Always test on an inconspicuous area before use.

When you see white marks after walking through snow or salted streets, don't simply try to polish over them. Those deposits need to be properly removed before you nourish or polish the leather again.

I also recommend treating these marks sooner rather than later. Work patiently and concentrate Hiver Winter where it is actually needed rather than unnecessarily treating the entire shoe. Once the leather is clean and completely dry, you can return to your normal conditioning and protection routine.
